Monroe Maine Community Library

Visit State Parks and the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens

Monroe residents can borrow a pass to visit state parks and the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens for free!  The park pass is for day use and covers admission for all occupants of a vehicle that holds up to 17 passengers (certain restrictions apply).  The Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens pass is a day pass for one or two adults and accompanying children.  Call or stop in at the library to reserve a pass and for more information.

A Good Yarn & Thursdays Together!

Stop by the Library for  weekly get-togethers,  Tuesdays and Thursdays at noon. A Good Yarn on Tuesdays is for knitting and other hand crafts. Everyone is welcome, from beginners to “old hands.” Advice is always available. On Thursday, there’s seldom a special agenda, just friendly conversation. Bring a game or handcraft, if it suits you. Brown bag lunch is optional. One Thursday each month is a book discussion.  Call, stop in, or email for more information.
