Saturday, February 15th: “Love Our Library” Open House!
Everyone is invited to a post-Valentine’s Day Open House to celebrate the recent renovations to our town library. Share your ideas about what you’d like to see at the library and learn about upcoming programs. This event is for all ages and will kick off with a children’s storytime at 10:30am, followed by an open house at 11:00am where we will have food and beverages, cookie decorating, crafts, and a special library appreciation moment!
February Book Group: Thursday, February 27th at noon
“Downeast: Five Maine Girls and the Unseen Story of Rural America” by Gigi Georges. “Well-researched and compelling . . . a celebration of hard work rewarded and family connections cherished…. it is a welcome dose of positivity in a troubled time.” — Portland Press Herald. Copies of “Downeast” are available at the library.
A Good Yarn & Thursdays Together!
Drop in for our weekly get-togethers, every Tuesday and Thursday at noon. Bring your knitting or other hand crafts to A Good Yarn on Tuesdays, where everyone is welcome, from beginners to “old hands.” Advice is always available. On Thursday, there’s seldom a special agenda, just friendly conversation. Bring a game or handcraft, if it suits you. Brown bag lunch is optional both days. One Thursday each month is our group book discussion. Stop in or email for more information.
