The Monroe Community Library is a volunteer-run organization, and we invite you to join us. Below are some of the ways your time and talents can help maintain the library and expand services to our community:
Volunteer to help:
▶︎ Staff the library during open hours (more volunteers = more hours)
▶︎ Plan and/or present programs for children, adults, and seniors
▶︎ Create take-away crafts for children
▶︎ Plan special events
▶︎ Communicate with the community through our social media, website, and/or email platforms
▶︎ Maintain library technology
▶︎ Create displays to highlight new or recommended materials
▶︎ Design or produce signage and other graphics
Special Requests:
Are you interested in Monroe history? Do you have a large size flatbed scanner? We’re looking for volunteers to help catalogue and digitize the Town’s historical archive.
Do you have carpentry or construction skills? Help us design and plan renovations to the Library.
If you would like to become a library volunteer, stop in during library hours or email Monroecommunitylibrary@gmail.com, with your interests and availability.
